African Padouk (Pterocarpus soyauxii) is also called coral wood because of its red colour. Native to West Africa, the deciduous tree reaches an impressive height of 25-35m with a trunk diameter of 1m. The wood is hard, dense and is often used in high-quality furniture construction. The durability and beautiful crimson color that darkens to purple-brown over time makes the Padouk a perfect grip for the barista and big step.

Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth. The hardwood handles are very popular and provide a great contrast to stainless steel machines and worktops.
